What you’ll do

Being a  Customs and Trade Compliance Analyst) responsible for tariff classification and EUDR compliance is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success – which means you’ll be:

  • Acting as primary point of contact as subject matter expert for tariff classification and EUDR DDS
  • Determining import and export commodity codes  and creating a written record of the legal justification for each determination
  • Ensuring that the data needed for EUDR DDS is available on a per product batch basis and submitted to support compliant EU imports,  exports and intra-EU movements
  •  Collaborating with customs and trade compliance colleagues to provide advice where needed for import/export documentation with regard to commodity codes and EUDR DDS
  • Collaborating within Innovation, Technical, Supply Chain & Procurement to ensure effective compliance controls are embedded in procedures/ways of working

 

 

Who you are

It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:

  • Strong analytical, IT and research skills with all types of data and information
  • International Trade/Customs/Trade Compliance/Tariff Classification experience
  • International Supply chain experience in Multi-Channel Retail and/or FMCG
  • Strong understanding of tariff classification methodology including use of the General Rules for the Interpretation (GIRs) of the Nomenclature and other technical reference resources
  • Knowledge of import and export declaration processes
  • Understanding the impact of tariff classification for tariff and non-tariff purposes
  • Strong understanding of EUDR framework and DDS requirements
