We’re already in 42 countries – but we want to be in even more. Partnering the Coca-Cola Company, we’re taking our cups of joy even further afield.
Americas
This region currently focuses on the United States and Mexico, with offices in Atlanta, Georgia, Austin, Texas and Mexico City, Mexico.
One of our newer markets, the Americas offers a great deal of scope for growing the Costa Brand in the home of Coca-Cola. We have been looking at cool new ways to bring our signature blend to the masses with our first collaboration concept store opening in Atlanta in 2022 to the most exciting chapter in coffee innovation with the building of a new smart robotics self-serve Costa machine.
APAC
Our APAC region is a mix of established and growth markets for Costa.
Having been in China since 2006, we have been on a continued growth journey with around 500 stores and an ever growing ready to drink portfolio with 9 products. In 2022, we also opened out first drive-thru format.
Our emerging markets consist of Japan, which is leading the way in amazing vending machine choices for our customers, and Malaysia, who are owning our Express offering with the aim of having 800 Costa X machines available the start of 2023. The region also includes India, one of our key growth markets, which we will be expanding to beyond 100 stores by the end of 2022, and Pakistan which opened it first store in 2022.
Our teams can be found in the Costa China office or sharing space with our Coca-Cola teams across Japan, Malaysia and India.
EMENA
Our EMENA region covers over 20 countries with around 500+ stores. It is on a continued growth journey made possible by the pioneering partnerships we nurture in market.
We are also exploring new drink variations for in store, Ready To Drink and At Home, as well as concept stores such as ‘the ice store’ in Kuwait.
This vast and diverse market is underpinned by our main support centres for the region in Dubai and Poland, and satellite office in Germany.
UK & Ireland
The UK & I is our home market. With almost 2,800 coffee shops and 12,000+ Express machines, it’s no wonder we’ve been named the Nation’s Favourite coffee shop for 12 years running by Allegra Strategies.
Along with our stores and Express offering, our corporate and individual partners bring Costa Coffee to our coffee fans without the need for a full store. You can also find us in your many of your local supermarkets with at home and ready-to-drink ranges. All Costa Coffee products, including our At-Home and Costa Coffee in a can range, have been expertly crafted by Gennaro Pelliccia, our Master of Coffee and uses Rainforest Alliance Certified™ coffee beans.
Underpinning the UK & I market are two support centres. One for the Costa Brand, and one for our Express offering.

Our Global Support Centres support our stores. Yes, they do what it says on the tin. It’s a different vibe to store-life , but the team’s still full of beans.

Our newly renovated headquarters is home to our corporate functions and North America teams. Since 1979, it has been impossible to miss our 29-story tower in Atlanta. Today, our workspace has been renovated with the latest technology designed for collaboration and inspiration.

The first Costa Coffee shop in Bulgaria was opened late in December 2006 and with over 20 stores across the country today, we operate the biggest coffee chain in the market, bringing cups of perfectly blended joy to our customers. Our office in Sofia houses some of our tech team who play a crucial role in our strategic ambition to be a leader in new technology that continues to transform the coffee experience for our customers.

One of the biggest and more sustainable roasteries in Europe, it’s a global centre of expertise, producing 45,000 tonnes of coffee per year. Who makes it happen? Master Roasters, Chemists, Biologists, Warehouse Operatives, Project Managers, Packing Specialists and Lab experts. In short, our amazing Roastery team.
