Exciting new role as we expand the Tech Hub even further in Sofia. The Senior Cloud Integration Engineer is responsible for contributing to the development, modernization and standardisation of integrations across Costa’s technology estate. These integrations play business-critical roles in ensuring data flows consistently and promptly across LoB systems and elsewhere.

A bit about the role…
You’ll be responsible for ensuring these are built to industry best practices, identifying opportunities for streamlining and leveraging new technology, and support Costa’s growth & expansion plans:
- Engaging with Delivery Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand the expected behaviours of functionality, and to develop to these requirements as appropriate – including automated testing as required
- Be part of a team tasked with modernizing the integration landscape using latest cloud technologies
- Leverage Azure cloud technologies in designing, building and managing robust reusable integration solutions
- Ensure that integrations are built and monitored using industry best practices, and align with common & reusable patterns
- Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to support the growth of Costa, future-proofing us for our continued global expansion

- Extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture and experience with building event streaming solutions.
- Understanding of API lifecycle management and experience with platforms like Apigee, MuleSoft Anypoint, Azure API Management or AWS API Gateway.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, including versioning, security, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for automating deployment and testing of integration solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model, in a fast-paced environment

Location/Travel…
The role will be hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2-3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required on up to a quarterly basis e.g. to the UK to participate in face to face planning meetings.
