The Costa Global Learning and Development team sits at the heart of our Global People team and partners with business stakeholders to build capability and succession strength needed for the business to perform and grow. A bit about the role…
Day to day, you’ll be adopting a performance consulting approach to focus capability build work where it will have the greatest impact. You will be responsible for:
- Scoping, defining and implementing the ‘build’ strategies for future capability development to ensure the right skills, knowledge and behaviour exists to deliver our Long-range plan
- Creating the leadership capability strategy needed to drive business transformation and growth, and lead the day-to-day delivery of this strategy
- Designing, curating and facilitating learning from with a broad spectrum of leaders across functions/business areas that drives individual performance
- Facilitating team effectiveness sessions with key leadership teams, to accelerate their performance
- Coaching leaders both formally and informally
- Managing external partners to ensure delivery is targeted where needed most and quality is high
- Leading matrix and cross functional teams to deliver their part in distinct leadership and capability build projects
Partnering, consulting and collaborating with global stakeholders across multiple markets
Be a driving force for global connection, facilitating regular sharing sessions across the L&D global community, including Coca-Cola to identify shared practises and solutions, reduce duplication and remove inconsistencies
Accountable for managing budgets and maintaining costs in line with annual targets where required

A successful track record of building and delivering leadership capability is just the start.. So, what else makes a great Leadership Capability Lead at Costa?
- Expert in Leadership Development including qualification in a range of profiling & psychometric tools (e.g. Hogan).
- Experience of working in growing global, matrix organisations with complex needs .
- A strong coach with the ability & credibility to coach senior level leaders.
- Experience translating a business strategy into a leadership development plans.
- A knowledge of working across global communities and cultural differences.
- Experience working within a fast-paced hospitality / retail organisation.
- Leading teams including matrix / networked teams, managing diverse stakeholders.
- Experience of project management across the entire learning cycle with experience of using agile methodologies.

Location: Remote role with the ability to travel to Costa office in Central London once a week
