A bit about the role…
Working in the B2B Technology team, the Senior Developer in Test will be working on Costa’s cloud systems to ensure quality products are developed for our B2B customers. The projects range from IOT telemetry systems to business-to-business web portals and customer-facing mobile apps, all with the aim of making it easy to do business with Costa. Collaborating with functional testers and developers based in both UK & Sofia, this role is critical in the Agile software development lifecycle to enable fast speed of change.
The role will:
- Develop automation test scripts to provide efficiency and repeatability in testing B2B Technology software
- Understand new software requirements from Product Analysts & Developers and build test scripts with high test coverage
- Identify tools and technologies for automated testing which support the team’s test strategy and provide automated test outcomes with evidence
- Collaborate with functional testers on which test cases can be automated, ensuring no gaps in test coverage

- Multiple years experience in an Automation Tester role, designing automation test scripts and creating test reports and evidence
- Comprehensive knowledge of test automation frameworks and testing technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate with users / project teams and explain complex details in simple terms
- Strong team working skills inspiring trust
- Flexibility – able to change direction on a test plan if required for delivery and still remain in control
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodology including Jira, Confluence & DevOps tools
- Experience in .NET, Specflow, Selenium, Postman, Azure Cloud
- Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps pipelines & Git Hub Repo
- Comprehensive knowledge of the testing of applications and API interfaces
