Software Engineer
Exciting opportunity for a Talented Software Engineer to come and join our B2B Software Team in delivering software for our connected coffee machines – an interesting role bringing together hardware, machine software and cloud integration. This is a true hybrid role – 2 days / week at our Loudwater (High Wycombe) Office (J3 M40) – working in our labs with hardware, software + QA teams to deliver fantastic machines.

A bit about the role…
Working in the B2B Technology team, as a Software Engineer (full stack) you will be working on software for Costa’s global footprint of both existing and new coffee machines – making sure the software integrates with hardware, connects seamlessly to our cloud IOT platform and delivering great coffee experiences for our consumers. Projects will include both enhancements to existing machines as well as greenfield projects for new machines being brought to market.
- Develop user interaction with our machines using web technologies (Vue / Typescript / HTML / CSS)
- Working on backend code to integrate machines with both machine hardware and our cloud platform
- Estimate and deliver work as part of a strong Agile team
- Support the QA team with investigation and fixing of defects
- Help to develop new innovations for our machines that drive customer engagement and enrich user experience
